How we got started

Kim Bushey creator of Dishwasher Creations owns the beautiful award winning Chesapeake Wood Duck Inn with her husband, located on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The Inn also serves as gallery for internationally known Artist Maureen Bannon. Kim has a beautiful work of art displayed on the front of her dishwasher at the Inn. For years Kim's guest ask if Maureen had painted the image and was it for sale? Having been in retail for over 20 years and a retailer at heart, Kim thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to design and create a unique product while utilizing the talent of Maureen to bring the joy of art, color and design into the kitchen.
